COREOPSIS

Coreopsis is a family of amazing perennial gems. It comes in a variety of heights and a range of vibrant colors. Relatively easy to grow, Coreopsis are drought tolerant once established. They can be wonderful additions to cut flower bouquets and they grow well in containers. Butterflies will hover, but deer are generally not interested in browsing. Also known as Tickseed.

Many of the newer varieties are sterile and bloom non-stop. A lot of breeding has been done recently with the thread-leaf varieties that possess thin fern-like foliage, providing attractive foliage when no flowers are present.
