Coreopsis auriculata 'Nana'. Also known as Tickseed, this hardy perennial features golden-yellow flowers on a very short plant. 'Nana' begins blooming in Summer and will continue all season if deadheaded.
Coreopsis are easy perennials to grow, rarely bothered by insects or disease. They are deer resistant. Tickseeds tolerate the hot summer sun, poor soil and short periods of dryness. A native to North America that has been recently bred into a number of colors. The flowers are great additions to fresh cut bouquets. A great plant for beginners and a standard of all butterfly gardens.
