Heuchera 'Citronelle' is a beautiful sport of 'Caramel' featuring citron yellow leaves with silvered undersides. Displays the same great compact form as its parent. Cream flowers appear just above the foliage. While this variety is listed as growing in sun it takes the shady side of the garden better. Adds some brightness to a dark area of the garden. Another "top shelf" villosa alum root from France's Thierry Delabroye. PP#17934.
This plant is a Heuchera villosa hybrid. The villosa species is a robust grower with an increased tolerance of high heat and humidity over other species. Most villosas produce flowers in midsummer, though they are usually grown more for their fantastic foliage. H. villosa is native to the southeastern United States. If you live in the south this plant is a great choice for your garden!
