Full sun to full shade. [30" tall]
USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9. Blooms mid to late season.
Astilbe chinensis. Astilbe 'Milk and Honey' is from the Chinese astilbe family. It is a white variety that holds up well under sun and drought. Creamy white plumes turn light pink as they age. The foliage is bushy and like most other astilbes it looks great even without flowers. Young foliage is sometimes marbled green and silver. This cultivar is a vigorous grower that blooms profusely.
PLANT SIZE: This astilbe is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot. You will receive a nice multi-eyed division of blooming age.
Please note that we ship Astilbe seasonally, mid April through October. Orders placed in 'winter' (November - early April) that contain Astilbe will be shipped mid April.
