Tricyrtis formosana 'Golden Festival'. This new toad lily features compact clumps of vigorous foliage topped off by bronze-dotted yellow flowers late in the season. It likes sunlight but gardeners with very hot summers should place it where it gets a few hours of relief from the sun. Makes a good cut flower, but with its late bloom time you may want to leave some of the flowers on the plant to freshen up your garden. An interesting companion plant for your hosta collection.
