Hosta 'Red Alert'
RED & YELLOW & PURPLE & GREEN
Hosta 'Red Alert' is a variegated seedling of 'Katsuragawa Beni'. It's crimson red petioles are striking and the irregular, narrow, creamy yellow margins are alluring. The red of the stems runs up into the leaves. The deep purple flowers appear just above the foliage in mid summer. Introduced in 2009. (Nora)

FLOWER: Deep lavender, mid season.
