Wilkins (1995). Large [36" tall x 80" wide]. Near white flowers early season.
Hosta 'Millennium' features huge (17" x 13"), extra thick, rounded, shiny dark blue leaves. A ('Herb Benedict' x 'Sagae') seedling, it is a strong grower that tolerates heat. Mr. Bob Solberg calls this variety "one of the best" and "impressive". Mr. Mark Zilis states that "'Millennium' reminds me of 'Blue Umbrellas', but with better color..." We love this big beauty for is outstanding slug resistance. Some individual specimens have measured even larger than the accepted 36" tall. Turns dark green as the season progresses. Very fertile.
