LUPINE SELECTIONS

A mass planting of mature plants in bloom is breathtaking! One of our favorites here at Casita Azul. Lupine attract butterflies and hummingbirds. They make wonderful cut flowers. Rebloomers if deadheaded. Lupine grow best in cool soil. They tolerate shady locations well, probably because the soil in the shade stays relatively cool. These beauties also grow in full sunshine.

If you have tried to grow this plant before and you were not very successful please give our plants a try. We only ship 2nd year plants that are vigorous and well rooted. We do not ship young seedlings that are tender and offer you a challenge. Our lupine are of blooming age.
