This is not a hardy hibiscus, except for those of you in the deep south. For the rest of us it is a potted plant you enjoy in your garden in Summer, and bring it indoors in Fall. Hibiscus "Panama Red" thrives in hot and humid climates. It is grown mainly for its deeply cut, remarkably colored foliage. Bright red flowers are a bonus.
