Helleborus Winter Jewels 'Onyx Odyssey' is another new and exciting perennial from the breeding program of Marietta O'Byrne. This beauty features large doubled flowers in hues of slate, purple and black. Outstanding breeding has produced long lasting bloom color which doesnt fade to green. These interesting perennials make wonderful companions to hostas, ferns and other shade tolerant plants, especially because they grow and bloom well before the others emerge. This plant is a vigorous grower. Helleborus are herbaceous perennials from the Hellebore family. Another fantastic introduction from Terra Nova.
