Heuchera villosa 'Brownies' is a very large coral bells with huge, broad chocolate-green leaves and purple-red undersides. It displays a nice dome-shaped clump. Brownies is different from other chocolate colored heuchera because it is extremely heat & humidity tolerant and it is quite vigorous. Alum root.
This plant is a member of a special hybrid family of coral bells from France. Breeder Thierry Delabroye has been working with heuchera villosa, crossing plants to find the strongest, most heat & humidity tolerant plants that also have a good growth habit. His years of work have paid off. This is one color in a series of 12. We are proud to offer the full color palette of these special perennials.
