White flowers mid season.
One of our very favorite hostas. 'Great Expectations' features thick, puckered leaves with irregular blue-green margins and creamy yellow to white centers. A sport of 'Elegans'. Multi award winner. A mature specimen is indeed a sight to behold. While it is a slow grower, this plant should be in every hosta collection. It is definitely worth the wait!!
This hosta is a winner of the prestigious "Popularity Poll" from the American Hosta Society. This variety has been named one of the very favorites of all hostas by the majority of the AHS members in an annual poll. Basically, this plant is "loved by all". An excellent choice for your garden.
