Solberg (2011). Medium [18" tall x 40" wide]. Striped grape-purple flowers late season.
Hosta 'Grape Fizz'. The thick green leaves are somewhat unassuming but the fragrant flowers are the real stars here. late in the season you will enjoy the scent from the large striped sweet flowers. Best results are obtained from growing plants in part sun. Bob came up with this new gem through the crossing of 'Rhaposody in Blue' X H. plantaginea. He affectionately reminds us... "Plant near the garden path for close-up enjoyment, and remember, do not cut these scapes before they bloom." We proudly offer plants directly from Mr. Solberg.
