Gentle Spirit

Zilis. Small [9" tall x 30" wide].
Purple flowers late season.
Hosta 'Gentle Spirit' is an interesting sport of hosta yingeri. The dark green leaves are of good substance and are smooth, shiny and somewhat wavy, with a thin white margin. In spring when the eyes emerge the back of the leaves are flushed with red at the tip. Individual leaves measure 6" long by 4" wide. The spider-shaped purple flowers tower high above the clump late in the season, up to 18 " tall.
PLANT SIZE: This plant is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot.
