Fried Bananas
Description
Solberg (1994). Large [24" tall x 48" wide].
Fragrant white flowers mid season.
Hosta 'Fried Bananas' is a gold sport of 'Guacamole'. Like its mother it has fragrant flowers. It is a strong grower with smooth, shiny, yellow-gold leaves that are slightly folded and ovate in shape. Semi upright growth habit.
Another fine introduction from Mr. Bob Solberg. We have found that any hosta with his name on it is definitely a variety worth growing. Bob has a wonderful reputation of releasing hostas that are truely different and special.
PLANT SIZE: This hosta is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot.
