Machen (2003). Small [10" tall x 21" wide].
Dark Lavender flowers mid season.
Hosta 'First Mate' is a tetraploid sport of 'Kabitan'. It features long, wavy, gold leaves with wide dark green margins. The coloration is more pronounced and the growth is more upright than its "parent". A strong grower with lavender flowers that tower 24" tall, well above the colorful mound of foliage.
PLANT SIZE: This plant is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot.
