Pulmonaria 'Excalibur'
Bethlehem's Sage
Pulmonaria 'Excalibur'. This beauty features shiny silver leaves with narrow dark green margins (foliage markings on young plants are not complete but quickly improve with age). It quickly forms a uniform mound of extremely mildew resistant foliage. Pink to purplish-blue flowers appear in spring. A stylish plant that makes a good companion to hostas and other shade loving specimens. Also an excellent plant for any woodland. Also known as Lungwort or Bethlehem's Sage, this herbaceous perennial is in the Boraginaceae family. Another superior introduction from Terra Nova Nurseries. PP#8958.
MATURE HEIGHT: Foliage 9". In bloom 9".
MATURE SPREAD: 20".
HARDINESS ZONES: 4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Early season.
