Coreopsis grandiflora 'Presto'. Also known as Tickseed, this hardy perennial features golden-yellow, semi-double flowers with dark green foliage. Reblooms if spent flowers are removed. A good selection for container growing. An award winner that is sure to please.
Coreopsis are easy perennials to grow, rarely bothered by insects or disease. They are deer resistant. Tickseeds tolerate the hot summer sun, poor soil and short periods of dryness. A native to North America that has been recently bred into a number of colors. The flowers are great additions to fresh cut bouquets. A great plant for beginners and a standard of all butterfly gardens.
