Echinacea 'Maui Sunshine' PP#22808. Large bright yellow flowers, sweetly scented and floriferous. Mature flowers are a soft yellow. This vigorous plant is well-branched with strong, upright stems. Showy orange cones with green backgrounds (great for cutting and drying). Introduced in 2011 by Terra Nova Nurseries, Inc.
'Maui Sunshine' differs from similar varieties in the following ways: ♦ Taller than 'Daydream' & 'Chiquita' ♦ Brighter yellow than 'Sunrise' & 'Aloha' ♦ Shorter than 'Leilani' ♦
This coneflower is a member of the "Prairie Pillars" family of echinacea from Terra Nova Nurseries. Long, strong stems and huge flowers is what this group of outstanding plants is all about. The non-fading flowers provide an excellent extended color display in the garden through frost and make outstanding cut flowers for indoor bouquets. Some of the best cultivars in the world.
