Buddleia 'Bicolor'
It's back!
Buddleia 'Bicolor' is the first butterfly bush to offer bicolor inflorescences. The fragrant flowers on the 10" panicles are lavender and butterscotch yellow. Clean grey-green foliage. A selection from Michael Dirr out of buddleia 'Honeycomb'. Vegetatively reproduced, not an inferior seedling.
Butterfly bushes do attract butterflies - like magnets! They are also appealing to the delicate little hummingbirds. Once established they are quite drought tolerant. Buddleia are generally deer resistant. These plants appreciate well draining soil, especially in the North.
