Aster dumosus 'Woods Purple' is a little aster that features loads of semi-double purple flowers in late summer. A prolific bloomer that exhibits excellent mildew and rust resistance. No staking is required with this well behaved perennial.
Asters are native to North America and grow nicely in pots. They make long lasting cut flowers, and are a nice addition to any butterfly garden, adding fresh color when many plants are done blooming.
