Astilbe thunbergii 'Ostrich Plume'. Different from most other astilbe this big beauty features large, open, droopy, arching, pink plumes. An award winner that is sure to please. Also known as Tall Japanese Astilbe, and in Europe it is named as 'Straussenfeder'. False Spirea.
PLANT SIZE: This astilbe is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot. You will receive a nice potted multi-eyed division of blooming age.
Please note that we ship Astilbe seasonally, mid April through October. Orders placed in 'winter' (November - early April) that contain Astilbe will be shipped mid April.
