Hosta 'Allegan Emperor' is from the nigrescens family. It features shiny, dark green, broadly ovate, slightly wavy, lightly folded, corrugated leaves. Leaves measure 9.75" long and 8" wide and display prominent veining. Mature clumps are quite impressive.
