Hosta 'Leather and Lace'. This unique beauty is the result of the complicated breeding of: [(Liberty Bell x Urajiro Hachijo) x Ebony Spires) × H. 'Astral Bliss'] . Bob says it best... "The first time I saw this wonderfully ruffled seedling of Don Dean's, I literally got goose bumps. This small blue hosta has a creamy white border and forms a tight pinwheel in the garden. It is unlike any hosta I know, unique and very beautiful." (Dean 2013)
